There’s no greater snack than hummus! Super easy to make, super delicious, and super duper healthy. A few quick pulses of the food processor, and you’re on your way!

The biggest dish of hummus ever created weighed well over 2000lbs. That’s a lot of hummus. And it’s a record you’re not likely to break. So forget about quantity, let’s go for quality!

Hummus isn’t rocket science. It’s a thing of beautiful simplicity, really. Some garlic, some lemon, and of course some tahini are taken for granted.

If you read the title, you know that what sets this recipe apart is the hemp! And who doesn’t love some hemp? Tossing some hemp seeds into your hummus mix is an awesome and simple way to boost your protein content and fill up on those essential omega fatty acids.

Bet you wish you’d thought of it!

  1. If using dried chickpeas, soak for two days. Drain and rinse every 12 hours or so.
  2. Throw all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth, you may have to scrape the bowl down a few times. I process mine a little longer as I like the smoothness and a bit of almost fluffiness to it (it’s not as heavy so to speak).
