Bitter green leafies are great for your digestive system and your liver! Kale is everyone's favorite bitter green leafy, and it goes great in smoothies! Why not throw some nuts and bit of cacao in there too? If you're allergic to cashews, you can substitute peanuts or just leave them out entirely.

  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until frothy and smooth.
  3. Enjoy!
  4. Note: If you don't have a high-speed blender such as a vitamix, soak the cashews and dates prior to blending. You may also want to use baby spinach instead of kale.
