This simple recipe is great for creating a truly raw alternative to conventional flour that has the added benefit of being gluten free. Made from 100% raw, natural almonds, this almond flour is dense in both flavor and nutrients.

  • 1 cup almonds (raw, soaked, and dehydrated)

  1. Start by soaking and dehydrating the almonds before using them to make almond flour. Make sure that there isn't any moisture in the almonds.
  2. Place almonds in either a) the dry container tha comes with the Vitamix, b) a high-speed blender or food processor. To get the finest grind, use the Vitamix.
  3. Process until the almonds break down to a flour texture. Remember: when using whole almonds this type of flour won't get very fine.
  4. Make as needed
