Avocado Pesto

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup basil leaves (fresh)
  • 2 Tbsp walnuts
  • 1/2 avocado (small)
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Method
 

  1. Place ingredients in a food processor and combine.
  2. Add olive oil while the food processor is running.
  3. Adjust olive oil to taste. Place in a sealed container, label, date, and refrigerate. Consume within seven days.
