Maple Walnut Oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup raw oats (soaked overnight, steel cut, whole oats or oat groats)
  • 2 Tbsp walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp goji berries (or raisins)
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup hot water (added after soaking time)

Method
 

  1. Drain and rinse the oats that have been soaking 6-12 hours. If you didn't soak ingredients overnight, you can use quick oats.
  2. Place oats in blender and add a little hot water. Blend for a few seconds and add the remaining ingredients. Pulse to and add more hot water to the desired consistency you want.
  3. Garnish with dried fruit and nuts.
