Marinated Miso Kale Chips

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups kale (pulled off stem in large pieces)
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp red miso
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp tahini
  • 1 Tbsp tamari

Method
 

  1. Mix marinade ingredients together in a bowl. Add the kale pieces to the bowl and massage the marinade into the leaves.
  2. Place on trays and dehydrate at 108°F / 42°C for 6-8 hours, or until crisp.
  3. (In case you don’t have a dehydrator you can use the oven on its lowest temperature with the oven door left slightly open. Drying times will vary in an oven, so keep an eye on them.)
