Dates are incredible. There’s so much natural sweetness in these things it’s almost unfair. These Chocolate Coconut Date Balls are a great variation on the classic simple treat.

The tahini is a nice addition in this recipe, adding the slightest bit of unexpected flavor in with the standard chocolate/coconut combination. Dates really provide all the sweetness you could ever need. Chocolate coconut date balls are a great snack to take out and about. Just throw some into a jar or container when you’re heading out for a day of hiking or beach lounging or even a roadtrip.

  1. In a food processor grind almonds into large crumbs and Add dates, tahini, cacao, coconut and.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1 inch balls and refrigerate. Makes approx. 30 balls. Store in an air tight container in the fridge.
