Cheesecake is kind of weird, isn’t it? I mean, it’s cake, made from cheese. What’s up with that?
Raw cheesecake is less weird, because there’s no cheese! Super delicious, not too sweet, and totally nutritious. This raw vegan lime cheesecake is made from hemp seeds, nuts, lime and coconut. Pure and delicious!

There’s something about deviled eggs that just seems so Spring-like. These deviled avocados fit that niche the raw vegan way. Creamy and spicy with that particular piquant flavor that makes deviled eggs so appealing, but without the need for any eggs! Once again, avocado proves it’s versatility.

It’s Monday, and Mondays call for simple, rewarding recipes. What better way to deal with Monday than with some spicy, garlic-y chili cheese fries? Raw and vegan, of course! Move over potatoes, there’s a new fry in town, and its name is jicama.
These certainly aren’t your every day fries (after all, they aren’t even fried). But they certainly do the job well. The jicama takes the place of potatoes, while nutritional yeast takes over for cheese. Of course, you can adjust the spices and herbs to your heart’s content, making it more or less spicy as is your discretion.
Great for snacking and for sharing. And, unlike conventional fries, these chili cheese fries will actually nourish you, rather than punish you!

Chia seeds are a fun and wonderful superfood! The gelatinous texture they get once they’ve had some time to soak is so uniquely nice and satisfying, and they are so good for you, too! Chia seeds provide many of the same benefits of flax seeds, but without the need to be ground up to be fully digested. They’re full of Omega 3 fatty acids, calcium, and fiber. And they make such awesome pudding!

Pomegranates and persimmons are two slightly out-of-the-ordinary fruits for the Western palate but are still easy to find. They’re right in that sweet spot between unusual and common that makes them exciting without being threatening. While they can be a bit trickier than your average apples and oranges (persimmons need to be super, super ripe and pomegranate seeds are just so tricky to get at!) the little bit of extra effort is completely worth it. They are really two of the most interesting and delicious fruits.
You can enjoy both these wonderful fruits in this pomegranate persimmon salad!
Aren’t these adorable? You certainly don’t have to make this delicious carrot cake as bite-sized hearts, but it’s just so cute that you might as well! This delicious carrot cake recipe has some surprises in it. Like dried mulberries in the cake layer, and coconut water in the frosting. Enjoy it either as one big cake or as scrumptuous little bites!
